There are a number of fairy shops that offer parties at the shop much like the one i work at, these shops may be able to invest into the cinema and offer staff to the place this would increase their business as the workers can promote their fairy shop with things being able to be bought from the shop in the cinema or having their logo somewhere in the cinema.

The cinema would be able to fit 24 children in each room with having two people working if it reaches the capacity. The cinema itself would have 18 rooms, 6 rooms per floor. so having 18 rooms with 24 children inside at $20 per child roughly in a day if reaching full capacity and not counting food bought or parents coming to watch the film the cinema would make around $8,640 in one session. There will be 4 sessions in a day leaving time for the people working to clean up the room before the next lot of kids come in so in one day the cinema can make up to $34,560 in one day between 10am – 4pm.  The cinema would only be run from 10am – 4pm on the Saturday and be open after 5 – 9pm Monday – Saturday.

the $34,560 would have to be split up between the staff, would have to pay the investors, the bills and any other things like damages beds or trees.

In a week to full capacity the cinema can make $77,760

The children will be able to have access to the cinema’s during the day from 10am – 4pm. The time selected is so children don’t get scared if they come in when it’s dark as children don’t like being away from parents that late in the afternoon. After 4pm the kids will have access to the cinema if they have an adult with them. Parents are always welcomed to stay with there kids whilst experiencing the cinema but the children must be accompanied by an adult after the 4pm session.

Cost

to cover the cost of the building the cinema and buying the land the prices would have to be relatively expensive because we are not just offering a simple movie we are offering a unique experience for children that can enhance their creativity skills and create something they wont forget.

Standard cinema ticket cost around $14 – $18 so for each child the tickets will cost $20 per child and $25 per adult
a child is considered up to 10 years old after that they will pay an adults price due to the cinema not really catering for children over 10.

the price of food such as pop corn and drinks will add to making money for the cinema.

Running the place

The cinema would be made up of normal staff like a normal cinema – cleaning staff, staff selling tickets, behind the candy bar and all of that but with the added child care worker who works inside the cinema with the children. These people would have to have a working with children’s card to ensure the safety of the children.
The uniforms for most of the staff will be stock standard cinema  uniforms with black pants and a t shirt with the logo however the child care worker will have provided costumes such as fairy dresses to wizard cloaks.

The films played will not be commercial films that are well known to everyone but films that are created by the community. This will encourage locals, up coming artists and others interested in film making to present their work. The films will be looked over by different people to ensure they are safe to watch and meet the clasification standards.

Digital planetarium manufacturers claim reduced maintenance costs and increased reliability from such systems compared with traditional “star balls” on the grounds that they employ few moving parts and do not generally require synchronisation of movement across the dome between several separate systems. Some planetariums mix both traditional opto-mechanical projection and digital technologies on the same dome.

In a fully digital planetarium, the dome image is generated by a computer and then projected onto the dome using a variety of technologies including cathode ray tube, LCD, DLP or laser projectors. Sometimes a single projector mounted near the centre of the dome is employed with a fisheye lens to spread the light over the whole dome surface, while in other configurations several projectors around the horizon of the dome are arranged to blend together seamlessly.

Digital projection systems all work by creating the image of the night sky as a large array of pixels. Generally speaking, the more pixels a system can display, the better the viewing experience. While the first generation of digital projectors were unable to generate enough pixels to match the image quality of the best traditional “star ball” projectors, high-end systems now offer a resolution that approaches the limit of human visual acuity, making their images subjectively indistinguishable from the very best “star balls” to most eyes.^{[citation needed]}

However, these digital star projectors do not show “pin-point” stars like one would actually see in the real sky. The colors of the stars are also not correct. Although the digital projectors are good for “traveling” through space, their ability to show a realistic star field is decades away.^{[citation needed]} And although the digital manufacturers may say that the costs of maintenance are reduced, in reality, the maintenance costs of the digital and video units are significantly more than those of their optical-mechanical counterparts.^{[citation needed]}

LCD projectors have fundamental limits on their ability to project true black as well as light, which has tended to limit their use in planetariums. LCOS and modified LCOS projectors have improved on LCD contrast ratios while also eliminating the “screen door” effect of small gaps between LCD pixels. “Dark chip” DLP projectors improve on the standard DLP design and can offer relatively inexpensive solution with bright images, but the black level requires physical baffling of the projectors. As the technology matures and reduces in price, laser projection looks promising for dome projection as it offers bright images, large dynamic range and a very wide color space.”

a design i had for the room was a similar one to the one i work in which you can briefly see in this image:

You can see the trees and the painted forest on the wall which i would like to have similar things with the screen on the room with the futons with colourful covers and pillows to match the theme

I had the idea of having a screen that was linked to senses that followed your eye movement or more realisitcaly body movement. When in bed a lot of people move around, this is even so in chairs so to have the screen follow where you are to look; lying down – its on the roof, sitting up in which ever direction – its on the walls.

The Bed

The bed still being a futon but one that can be in shapes that allow you to sit up against the back as well as have enough room to lay down.  An example of this is the changeable futon bed that changes from a couch to a bed:

however the one to be used in the room that you wish to show your film would have to be able to change or designed to suit you, to mold to your needs.

Cinema

This could not work in a cinema as everyone moves around in different ways/direction at different times there for the film being shown would be shown in the original manner – that being on the ceiling.
